Hello there, reader of my journal!
Suddenly, a turning point of my life happened. I moved from the islands of the Philippines to the United States of America. Whoopee! 7882.25 mile distance from my original home!
I have been living here for almost three months already, haven't got too much time in my hands to update right away here. A lot of things have occurred and adjustments have taken over me quite well. Adjustments to the weather, people, culture and language. When I say language I mean the common conversation starters, what to say, what to do, what to assume and what not.
Sounds happy? No, not all the time. I miss being with my friends and with my relatives in the Philippines too! And I am actually secretly weeping at night during homesick attacks. But on the bright side, I have been experiencing ALL NEW things! Food, fruits and other edible stuff that isn't accessible in the Philippines, posh stores that isn't so expensive here in the United States and most of all, loving and warm church which I call mini-Heaven
On the side note of this big leap of my life, my Canon Powershot G5, which is my first ever camera I have ever owned, said goodbye to me and my photography pursuits. It's name is "Powie" if I have ever mentioned before. Powie, Rest in Peace.. OR I will attempt to get you work once more by doing bizarre things again. No Camera Cruelty is Applied, readers. I kept Powie in tuck of my secret lair.
This new place will be the home of my photographs soon, Minnesota USA - The Land of 10,000 Lakes.
